REVERED. TREASURED. SCARCE.
For thousands of years, Indian sandalwood has been deeply ingrained in the culture of the world's most populous regions (India and China) and is a much sought-after and valuable commodity. Thanks to the therapeutic benefits of sandalwood oil, it has always played a significant role in Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine thanks to the therapeutic benefits of sandalwood oil. In Europe we know it in cosmetics and perfumes. However, worldwide greed has led to excessive overexploitationleaving theking tree of the Indian people under the threat of extinction for decades. It has only been possible to cultivate Indian sandalwood sustainably over a large area in the tropical north of Australia and it is here that we own five plantations with about 350,000 sandalwood trees.
